It will probably come as no surprise, that I’m a little bit of a, well lets say a eco warier, wait, that’s not really the right word, I guess I’m very conscious of trying to do my bit to protect the planet, I am a strong believer in people just changing there habits a little, using less plastics, and recycling more.
So, when it came to looking at the stationary for The Creative Sloth, more specifically, “Business Cards” I was torn between physically ordering them, or just not having any. Any sane business man or woman would tell you, you need business cards, but it was really going against my ethos, I mean, most cards are thrown away, and because of the types of paper, and finishes, a lot of them can’t be recycled.
But after some heavy Google searching, I came across a company called Moo.com. There website was incredible, but what drew me in was a product called “Moo Cotton” It was a paper stock made from recycled t shirt of cuts? It had no special finishes, so it could be recycled easily, came in a variety of shapes, I chose square for mine due to the design element of my logo, and their prices were very competitive considering the process and the overall uniqueness of the product.
The whole ordering process with Moo.com was simple, and they even allow you to print off a proof, which is the exact size of your business card you will receive, this was actually a big help for me as it allowed me to fine tune the text size to be 100% perfect.
So The Creative Sloth, continues its green ethical ethos, thanks to Moo.com, I encourage every business out there to go check them out, there customer service is incredible, they have a impressive paper stock, and the buzz you get seeing your work printed is something that cannot be beaten.
